Central Noble Jr-Sr High School

The Central Noble Cougars battled hard but came up short against Prairie Heights, falling 5-1. The Cougars came out aggressive to start the match, applying pressure and creating early opportunities, but struggled to find the back of the net. Prairie Heights capitalized on set pieces, converting two free kicks, and later added a third goal off a deflection to carry a 3-0 advantage into halftime. In the second half, Central Noble continued to fight and was rewarded when Bailey Butler found the back of the net to get the Cougars on the scoreboard. However, Prairie Heights was able to respond quickly, using counter attacks to score two more goals and put the game out of reach. Despite the final score, the Cougars showed strong effort and energy throughout the contest and will look to build on that as they move forward in their season.
