Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars Victorious Over Churubusco Varsity Eagles By GameChanger Media Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars were victorious against Churubusco Varsity Eagles 7-4 on Tuesday. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars were the first to get on the board in the first when Grace Swank singled, scoring one run. Churubusco Varsity Eagles jumped back into the lead in the top of the second inning after Jaylyn Shively singled to center field, and Churubusco Varsity Eagles scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run. Katie Forker grounded out, which helped Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars tie the game at two in the bottom of the second. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Churubusco Varsity Eagles committed an error, Kendra Smith grounded out, Churubusco Varsity Eagles committed an error, and Kennedy Vice singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Alyssa Marks hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the sixth for the Churubusco Varsity Eagles. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars scored one run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run to right field by Swank. Swank earned the win for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars.
