Parker Boots’s Clutch Hitting Propels Central Noble Varsity Cougars To Victory Over West Noble Varsity Chargers By GameChanger Media Parker Boots drove in four runs on one hit to lead Central Noble Varsity Cougars past West Noble Varsity Chargers 8-4 on Monday. In the second inning, Boots hit a grand slam to left field. Central Noble Varsity Cougars rallied for the victory despite trailing 4-0 in the second. West Noble Varsity Chargers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Brooks Ruisard singled down the left field line, and Central Noble Varsity Cougars committed an error, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers added two runs in the second after Trevor Martin singled to center field. Central Noble Varsity Cougars captured the lead, 8-4, in the bottom of the sixth after West Noble Varsity Chargers committed an error, and Landyn Champion doubled to center field, each scoring two runs. Corbin Douglas earned the win for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. The reliever gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Trevor Steele took the loss for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The hurler went one inning, giving up four runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking one. Brody Morgan led things off on the mound for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. The starter surrendered three hits and four runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. Jordan Eash started the game for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The starter surrendered six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out five and walking three. Champion led Central Noble Varsity Cougars with three hits in four at bats. Douglas collected two hits for Central Noble Varsity Cougars in two at bats.
