Two Central Noble softball standouts have been recognized among the best players in Indiana, as senior Grace Swank and junior Kaitlyn Tilley earned spots on the 2026 Softball Coaches Association of Indiana (SCAI) All-State Teams. Swank was named to the Class 2A/A First Team All-State, placing her among the elite softball players in the state. The senior pitcher capped off a remarkable career by leading the Cougars on a deep postseason run, highlighted by a dominant regional championship performance in which she struck out 20 batters and tossed a complete-game shutout in a 4-0 victory over Woodlan. Throughout the season, Swank excelled both in the circle and at the plate, serving as the leader of a Central Noble team that established itself as one of the top Class 2A programs in Indiana. Her First Team All-State selection is a fitting recognition of the impact she made on the Cougar program and the success she helped bring to Central Noble softball. Joining Swank on the All-State list is junior Kaitlyn Tilley, who earned Class 2A/A Third Team All-State honors. Tilley was a key contributor throughout the season, providing consistency in the lineup and delivering in critical moments during the Cougars' postseason run. One of Tilley's biggest performances came in the regional championship game when she collected three hits and drove in a run to help lead Central Noble to the regional title. Her offensive production, defensive play, and leadership helped make her one of the top players in northeast Indiana and earned her statewide recognition from the coaches association. The selections highlight the strength of the Central Noble softball program and the dedication of its student-athletes. With Swank concluding an outstanding career and Tilley set to return next season, the future remains bright for the Cougars.
