Central Noble Varsity Cougars Win In Fashion, Walk It Off Versus Eastside By GameChanger Media Central Noble Varsity Cougars took Tuesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 3-2 walk-off victory over Eastside. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the seventh when Chelsea Fleshman singled, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Central Noble Varsity Cougars pitchers struck out 13, while Eastside sat down five. Central Noble Varsity Cougars got on the board in the fifth inning after Molly Mann singled, scoring one run. Eastside captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the seventh after Peyton Reycasa singled down the left field line, and Danelle Guerra laid down a sacrifice bunt, each scoring one run. Central Noble Varsity Cougars jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning after Ahydan Wabika homered to center field, and Fleshman singled to right field, each scoring one run. Grace Swank earned the win for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. The righty surrendered two hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking two. Kaylyn Mayberry took the loss for Eastside. The starter went six and one-third innings, giving up three runs on 10 hits, striking out five and walking one. Central Noble Varsity Cougars amassed 10 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Swank led Central Noble Varsity Cougars with three hits in four at bats. Fleshman, Mann, and Wabika each drove in one run for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. Kaitlyn Tilley collected two hits for Central Noble Varsity Cougars in four at bats. Reycasa and Reece Mason each collected one hit for Eastside. Guerra led Eastside with one run batted in. Eastside were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
