Cougars Edge Prairie Heights in Tight Three-Team Golf Match

The Central Noble Cougars golf team edged out a close victory in a competitive three-team match, finishing with a team score of 183. They narrowly defeated Prairie Heights, who shot 187, while Fairfield rounded out the field with a 170. Leading the way for the Cougars was Nick Freeman, who carded a team-low round of 40. Hunter Halsey and Charlie Fleshman each added solid scores of 47, while Conner Fish followed closely with a 49. Jayden Jordan completed the varsity scoring with a 53, helping secure the team win in a tightly contested matchup. On the junior varsity side, Central Noble posted a team score of 215, Prairie Heights (235) and Fairfield (199). Issac Nodine led the JV Cougars with a 52, followed by Bryce Coyle’s 48. Dawson Ewell turned in a 57, while Harrison Spencer and Darius Spaw rounded out the scoring with rounds of 58 and 63, respectively. The Cougars continue to show growth and consistency as the season progresses, with both varsity and JV squads gaining valuable experience on the course.
